On Sunday, July 25th, Warner Bros. Studios became the only studio in history to surpass $1 billion at the domestic box office for ten years in a row. In addition, the division has crossed the billion-dollar threshold for eleven of the past twelve years. The announcement was made by Dan Fellman, Warner Bros. Pictures President of Domestic Distribution.

The audition process for the upcoming CBS reality-competition series GOT TO DANCE (working title) has started. To get a leg up on the competition and apply for the chance to appear on GOT TO DANCE and audition for Paula Abdul, prospective dancers can log on to www.cbs.com/dance for an application and further details. This is a nationwide search open to all U.S. residents. There is no age limit or minimum. Dancers can perform any type or style of dance, as an individual or in a group.

CBS Television Studios has entered into a first look deal with leading independent comic book publisher Oni Press and its sister company Closed on Mondays Entertainment. The announcement was made today at Comic Con by David Stapf, President, CBS Studios and Eric Gitter, President of Closed On Monday Entertainment.

The comedic drama CHAOS, starring Freddy Rodriguez, Eric Close, James Murray, Tim Blake Nelson and Carmen Ejogo, has been ordered by CBS for mid-season.
CHAOS focuses on a group of rogue CIA spies in the Office of Disruptive Services (ODS), who combat threats to national security amidst bureaucratic gridlock, rampant incompetence and political infighting.
Tom Spezialy and Brett Ratner are the executive producers for 20th Century Fox Television. |

Network to Roll Out Nearly All of its New and Returning Series During Official Premiere Week starting Sept 20th with Hawaii Five-0.
CBS announced today that most of its new and returning series will premiere during the week of Sept. 20, the official start of the 2010-2011 season. The exceptions are SURVIVOR: NICARAGUA, which launches a week earlier, and THE GOOD WIFE and CSI: MIAMI, which both debut a week later.

CBS has ordered a new daytime talk show for fall 2010 featuring a panel of well-known news and entertainment personalities who will examine topical events and contemporary issues through the eyes of mothers. The daily, one-hour series will be co-hosted by Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Holly Robinson Peete, Leah Remini and Marissa Jaret Winokur.
