The 411: Based on the true story of Christopher Mallick, Middle Men tells an American story of how internet commerce was born thanks to an unlikely case of supply and demand. Jack Harris (Owen Wilson) reluctantly leaves his mild mannered Texas life to help run an internet billing company in the 1990s. Ran by two incompetent, nearly savant drug addicts (Giovani Ribisi, Gabriel Macht), it's up to Wilson to save the business, his new partners and his very soul.

Los Angeles Guardian Angels

So, I am sitting on my bed in my hotel room in San Francisco looking into the air thinking about what I should write about for this week’s column. What kind of crazy stuff has happened in Hollywood for me to devote the space so that people would make people think and maybe get excited.

Then, I thought, I am in San Francisco sitting on my hotel bed at the Holiday Inn with hours to spare before I have to get up and get to work. Now, why on earth am I in San Francisco??? They don't have anything Hollywood going on in San Francisco, do they??? No, I don't think so except Nash Bridges was shot here as well as NBC's Trauma but that was cancelled and I am still pissed off about that, because to me it was a great show. Anyways, so why am I here and what does the title of this column really mean?
